Correction standards

  • Material product-spec, pricing, safety, route-access, or recommendation changes are logged as updates.
  • Reader-reported issues are checked against manufacturer pages, official resources, or calculator math before a page changes.
  • Small grammar, formatting, and broken-link fixes may be handled without a log entry unless they change meaning.
  • Affiliate relationships do not decide whether a correction is accepted.

What happens after a report

We verify the page and source, decide whether the issue changes reader action, then update the guide, calculator, metadata, or recommendation when the evidence supports it. Material changes are reflected here or in the affected page's freshness notes.
